Coaching and Counseling for Individuals

Gaining Clarity. Becoming Capable of Action. Living Effectively.

Life sets junctions – in relationships, at work, in the family, in one’s own biography. Coaching supports you in gaining an overview, making decisions, and implementing lasting changes. I work systemically and using cognitive behavioural approaches – with a dash of philosophy: the great thinkers (from Aristotle to Frankl) provide timeless impulses for a good, flourishing life.

Where Coaching Helps

  • Midlife: meaning, priorities, reorientation – How do I want to shape the coming years?
  • Partnership & relationships: communicating, clarifying boundaries, balancing closeness and autonomy.
  • Personal growth: using strengths, sharpening values, expanding self-efficacy.
  • Stress & balance: combining performance with quality of life; realistic routines and recovery.
  • Decisions & changes: job change, relocation, family phases, stay or go?
  • Self-management: focus, habits, procrastination, dealing with digital distractions and overload.

Important: If psychological complaints are in the foreground (e.g. persistent depression, severe anxiety), we will discuss together whether psychotherapy is more appropriate – I will advise you fairly on the right approach.

My approach
wirksam & menschlich

  • Systemic: We look not only at the person but also at contexts and relationship patterns. Small changes in the right places can make a big difference.

  • CBT: Concrete goals, verifiable steps, exercises between sessions. We work on thoughts, feelings, and behaviour – where change becomes tangible.

  • Philosophical Impulses: Eudaimonia instead of perfectionism, Stoic equanimity instead of rumination spirals, meaning and values work after Frankl – as orientation, not dogma.

  • Practically applicable: Fewer buzzwords, more impact: clear plans, experiments, regular reviews.

Tools, we use together

Process

  1. Initial consultation (30–45 Min., online): Clarifying the concern, desired outcome, fit, and framework.

  2. Kick-off (75–90 Min.): Situational assessment, goal architecture, first steps.

  3. Follow-up sessions (50/75 Min.): depending on the topic, every 2 to 4 weeks; small, manageable experiments between sessions.

  4. Review: What is working? What is needed next? We adjust pragmatically.

Formats: Individual session (German/English), in person (Vienna) and online.

Confidentiality: clear, reliable, respectful.

For whom

For whom: For people who want to work in a reflective, solution-oriented way – whether in midlife, in clarifying a relationship, before an important decision, or when everything is running but something is missing.

My background as an organizational consultant/coach and psychotherapist in training under supervision combines clarity with depth.

Distinction: For companies, entrepreneurs, and executive leaders I offer a dedicated programme at paradox.works. This coaching offering is explicitly for private individuals.
