Individual Therapy

Sometimes all it takes is a protected space to hear yourself again.

Individual therapy is about you – about what moves you, burdens you, or what you would like to change. Whether it is an acute crisis, inner emptiness, feeling overwhelmed, or the sense that 'I should really be content, but I’m not' – here you have the time and space to encounter yourself, develop new perspectives, and find a sense of grounding.

I support you in sorting your thoughts, understanding your feelings, and gradually returning to your own strength. I work clearly, empathically, and at eye level – with a deep trust in your capacity to find your way and grow.

Reasons for Individual Therapy

Many people come to individual therapy not only after a diagnosis of a mental disorder (like OCD, phobias, depression, bipolarity, etc.) or neurodivergence (like ADHD), but also when they feel that something 'isn’t working anymore' or that their usual strategies are no longer effective.

Typical Topics:

      • Stress, exhaustion, burnout
      • Anxiety, inner restlessness, sleep disorders
      • Depression, low mood, rumination
      • Self-esteem, self-criticism, perfectionism
      • Life crises, separation, loss, new beginnings
      • Orientation, questions of meaning, identity
      • Problems in relationships or at work
      • Trauma, distressing experiences
      • Physical complaints with a psychological component (e.g. tinnitus, pain, breathing difficulties)

How I Work

Cognitive behavioural & systemic:

We examine patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour and understand how they arose – in order to change them in a targeted way. Systemic and philosophical perspectives also come into play, looking beyond the symptom towards meaning, attitude, and development.

Individual & practically oriented:

You will receive concrete, actionable tools and exercises that integrate well into your everyday life. For me, therapy means making insights experiential.

Respectful & transparent:

I work in a structured, respectful way, and with humour. Change requires trust – and trust grows through clarity and a genuine therapeutic relationship
